Instructions

  • In a pressure cooker, combine chicken with a pinch of salt and turmeric powder. Cook for 1-2 whistles depending on the cooker. Let the steam release naturally, then open the cooker, drain the chicken, and shred it. Set aside.
  • Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onions, green chillies, and curry leaves. Sauté for about a minute until onions start to soften.
  • Stir in ginger garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears. Add chilli powder and garam masala, stirring to mix well.
  • Add the shredded chicken to the pan. Toss well to coat with the spices. Cook for a few minutes until the chicken is heated through and flavors meld.
  • Sprinkle pepper powder and coriander leaves over the chicken. Mix well.
  • Remove from heat and serve the Pichu Potta Kozhi warm.
